Urban Alliance is a nonprofit operate in Washington DC.
he group works to train youth from under-resourced areas for work and self-sufficiency, through paid internships, training, case management, and mentoring. The internships allowed me to really narrow down what would be my back up plans if basketball was not to work out, it showed me different jobs by allowing me to participate in different workshops and see the ins and outs of different companies. I got to see how the companies came about, how they are ran, and what it takes to keep them running. I am really grateful for this opportunity because it opened my eyes
